inPact connects schools: when children show us the way.
On Friday December 15th, inPact went to the Eglantier school in Delft, NL, to introduce a new project: the collection of school supplies for the Houngo School in Benin.

In January, Jean-Victor and Antoine will go to Benin to visit the Houngo School, and on that occasion, they decided to use their baggage allowance to carry school supplies to take along to Benin. All together, they will have the opportunity to take 90 KG of pens, paper, notebooks and any other supplies useful in schools.
inPact has decided to invite schools in the Netherlands to take part to the collection of the supplies. So did we get in touch with the Eglantier School in Delft, who showed a strong interest in participating to the collection. On Friday December 15th, Antoine went to meet the 3 classes that were selected to participate to this action. He described the Houngo school project, showed pictures and replied to their many questions.

Seeing children of the same age somewhere else in the world also made them very curious and they were strongly touched by the situation in Benin. The kids were extremely enthusiastic and showed an amazing sense of compassion and solidarity: As soon as they understood about the collection, they immediately started to look in their pencil cases to find something to donate! What a lesson for us adults, always thinking before deciding to share!
The collection will be open until January 12th at the Eglantier School, but if you wish to participate, please contact us, via the contact page, the chat-box or via Facebook.
